You may want to remove the insulation in your attic for several different reasons:

* Vermin or insect contamination
* Wet insulation.
* Improper air sealing.
* Ice damming
* Water leakage.


Improving the attic air barrier system to prevent heat loss, ice damming and condensation damage. Once old insulation is removed this enables you to spray a monolithic layer of foam to stop all the air leakage into the attic. Common problem areas are electrical fixtures, partition walls, and plumbing stacks among others. Once the attic is air sealed we can blow in fiberglass or cellulose to the attic space to achieve recommended R50.
